New year 2008-2009 was spent in privaledged surroundings overlook the River Thames, St Pauls and the millenium Bridge. Although the London Eye was mostly hidden around the river’s curves the fireworks could be seen quite clearly and at time the whole of London seemed to light up in a bright white flash.
